Hey friends,
it's been awhile since I've written and so much has happened...

In August I took a job as a middle/high school teacher at a local Christian school, what a huge change from starbucks!! I have been incredibly blessed and incredibly challenged in this new adventure.

I am teaching 4 subjects! 3 science classes and 1 math class, it's really intense! I work a minimum of 12 hours a day always weekends. I know its only for a season and will get easier and I'm looking forward to that:)

The kids...
I teach 7th, 8th, 9th and even 1 10th grader :)
I love my kids and am so blessed to have them in my life, nevertheless we have had some tough times getting to know each other, and we are all learning and growing in this process.

We just got back from our middle school retreat and it was amazing! I was so blessed for some time to get away with the kids and just have fun and build relationships with them and God really provided this! Here are the highlights...

paintball for 4 hours ( I have some very large bruises... battle wounds are a necessity!) by the end the kids were asking me to be on their team, even the boys!

a dance-off in front of the entire chapel with one of my 8th grade girls (the same girl I beat at a wrestling match just hours before), which I won with classics such as the lawn mower, the shopping cart and the running man!

awesome times in God's word and fellowship with the kids, we laughed and played and grew in love for one another and Jesus, it was such a sweet time!

I hope to write more to let you know what God is doing, so keep checking in...

Praise God for His faithfulness in our lives and for His surprise ways in our lives as well, He is awesome!
