It was once said that home is where the heart can laugh without shyness and where the heart's tears can dry at their own pace. I hope this space will be a place you find yourself at home. I hope you will find safety, comfort and joy on these pages. You are seen and you are loved dear friend. Thanks for stopping by!

At the Cross

Last week at our wednesday evening Koinonea service I prayed in earnest that I would see the cross, that I would recognize my sin for which my savior died and that I would know the Love that held him on the cross.
This poem captures a glimpse of the beauty I beheld in that moment and pray to cling to with each passing moment...

At the cross I see you
At the cross I see Love
At the cross I see mercy, forgiveness
At the cross I see grace
I kneel before you with a broken heart
because yours was broken for me
You gave your all that I might live
You have loved me with an everlasting Love and drawn me with cords of loving kindness
It is nothing within me, there is nothing I could do, you did it all...you did it all for me...
With a grateful heart I bow before you my King, my God, my Savior, my Friend
You are my Jesus and I am forever your beloved
