A New Thing in 2015

"Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:19

In honor of my birthday, I thought I'd finally post my new year's resolutions for this year...it's still a new year, just not the same one everyone else celebrates ;)

Last year was hard. It was a lot of loss and letting go. A lot of digging up and healing over. I didn't just say goodbye to a year but to a season and I'm so grateful for how God led me through and even more confident of his presence, guidance and care as I enter into this new season. I can already feel the cool rushing waters of the river and the surety of my step on the emerging road.

Last year's new year's resolutions were pretty extensive and intense. This year will be less so, in that the list isn't that long and they aren't too deep but, they are EPIC nonetheless. So here goes...

1) Go back to school (what??? I know, it's for reals.)
2) Self Publish a (very short) book (you can totally do that!)
3) Enjoy the heck out of this year! Everyday. (said in my best Nacho Libre voice)

The end.

"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia."
Charles M. Schultz
