The Heart

What if it's true, that the heart is deceitful? What if the very thing you ache for is the very last thing you should have or will even want to have once you know what it really is?

But what if the one thing you ache for is the only thing that can bring relief? What if your heart is right?

How can you tell the difference?

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, but how do you discern what you see in them?
Our eyes look outward onto the world where our knowledge and other 4 senses come together to discern what's in view. But what tools do we have to look and discern what is inward, what is on the other side of the eyes which at the moment hold our gaze and hold our heart?

There is a heart that is pure, a soul that is all goodness. There is one pair of eyes, when gazed into, one finds absolute peace, pure love and a sure hope. Maybe there's something about these eyes that can teach us about our search into others. What if we could look through this one pair of eyes? Would we not see into others with nothing less than purity and hope? Would we not see the soul maybe not as it is but as it could be? As it should be? Would we not here find hope?

Rest easy heart and hope...
