It was once said that home is where the heart can laugh without shyness and where the heart's tears can dry at their own pace. I hope this space will be a place you find yourself at home. I hope you will find safety, comfort and joy on these pages. You are seen and you are loved dear friend. Thanks for stopping by!

Home

Today I moved into my new apartment, well at least it's new to me! My wonderful friend and co-laborer Keely moved in with me and we are expecting 2-3 more girls to join us once the students come. We live right above the cafe, where I will be spending a good amount of my time now that I will be managing the coffee bar...praise God! I'm excited...His plans are good.

I like it in my new apartment, it's nice....I am extremely blessed to have such a
beautiful place to rest my head. Thank you Jesus!

Yet I don't feel like it's home... I think that's something God has put in us, the longing for a better place, never quite feeling like you belong...it's a heavenly place and by His grace we may enter and stay in His presence and finally be at home.

"All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left ,they would have had opportunity to return. Instead they were longing for a better country-- a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them." Hebrews 11:13-16
