It was once said that home is where the heart can laugh without shyness and where the heart's tears can dry at their own pace. I hope this space will be a place you find yourself at home. I hope you will find safety, comfort and joy on these pages. You are seen and you are loved dear friend. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi! Sorry its been so long since I've posted an update, time is just flying by! So much has happened and I'm not sure I can write it all or remember it all! I have been blessed with guests from home, trips to other cities and ministries in Germany, growing relationships with my students, and a growing relationship with Jesus!

A quick update from my last one: We are not moving this semester, the details are too much so I won't go into them but praise God because we are still able to remain in our current building and because his timing is perfect.
I had asked you to prayer for my migraines, please keep praying. They have increased in severity and frequency. I know that God has a plan and a purpose in all things, so pray that I will always praise Him despite the pain or feelings of uselessness when they come. Pray that I will grow in the ministry of prayer during these times and other times as well.

We only have 6 weeks left! I'm praying for direction for the next semester...
I asked the Lord for a verse in regards to this step in my life and here's what He gave me,
Romans 1:5,6 "Through him nad for his name's sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ."
Isaiah 43:18,19 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."
I have no idea what it means, but I sure am excited to see what God is doing! :)

I'm coming home for Christmas and I'm very excited! Please pray for this because I can see that culture shock will be a challenge, I hope that I will continue to learn and grow during this time and that the new things the Lord has done will remain and I will have a new perspective on life in America. Or even just in the real world, because living with 30 Christians and walking downstairs to worship and Bible teaching everyday just doesn't happen for the average person. This might be a bit confusing but those of you who have lived in a foreign culture and or in a Bible College setting will undertand what I mean.

Please pray for our student body, we seem to have a "spirit of romance" here! :)
Pray that they will not be distracted and that they will keep their eyes on the Lord and receive all that He has for them! You can pray for me too because I feel like I'm on relationship patrol all the time and its not so fun...

I know I'm a bit all over the place, I hope this makes some sense...
Thank you so much for praying and for reading this! You rock!

More soon...
Praise God for His everlasting love for us!
