Praise the Lord!

Hi! Wow! This week I would like to tell you about answered prayer... some may seem a bit trivial but you should know that God cares about all the details of our lives and I have proof!
Some of you may know that I have been praying that my mom would be able to come visit me here in Germany for some time now. Well... yesterday she called with her flight information!!! I’m so excited! I couldn’t even sleep I was excited! What an incredible blessing to be able to spend time with my mom and to share with her in person my life here in Siegen, Germany. Please pray that she will be blessed abundantly during her time here and that we will have great fellowship with one another.

Now, this may sound silly but this next one is a huge praise for me, are you ready? I had my first successful (ie. Without stalling) drive with a stick shift! Hey it’s the little things okJ Actually it was really hard for me to learn, I was feeling really discouraged and its very important to the ministry I do here, so praise the Lord!

I’ve been having some pretty severe migraines lately and on Monday the staff here prayed for me and I have felt great since, may be no big deal to the average person but for me to go headache free for four days is a big deal! I have been to the doctor (who gave me free samples of my really expensive medicine, praise the Lord) and he suggested some things that might help in the long-term. Please keep praying for me, that I will be healed of these headaches and that no matter what God will be glorified.

Praise God for all that He has done in the last three weeks in the lives and hearts of the students here. What an amazing Father we have! I am very excited for the next 12 weeks and all that the Lord has in store!

We find out tomorrow (Friday, September 24th) if we will move into the villa in October. Please pray! We want to move as soon as possible, but we are so thankful for God’s provision so far and know that He will continue to provide.

Tomorrow I’m going to a city called Aachen to visit some friends there and pray with them about their ministry in the city. It may be that students can get involved there in the future. Praise God for this opportunity and for the love He has for the city of Aachen.

Thank you for sharing with me in these praises and for praying for me. God Bless you!
Isaiah 43:10-13 "You are my witnesses," declares the Lord, "And my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before me there was no God formed, and there will be none after me."

PS. My big sister is having a baby!!!! I'm so excited! Please pray for her (Audrey) and her husband (Mike) as they prepare for this new blessing!

Hello Jennifer,

I am so happy to hear that your mother will visit. It will be good to have her with you. I just found out from your sister that you will soon be an aunt and I a grandpa. WAHOOOOOO!! I am so happy for them and us too. Please pray that her pregnancy goes well.

I am also very happy to hear that your headaches are under control. My heart goes out to you and I empathize with your pain. Everything else is fine on the home front. I look forward to seeing your smiling face.

Love,

Dad

PS I told Audrey I would tell the world about the baby to be. I can't tell you how excited I am. Babies are a wonderful gift from God.

We then all went to San Diego and met with Brent, Dee, Dee and Conor at the San Diego Zoo. Had a great time.
Andy really had a great time.
The next day we went to Seaworld with Brent,Dee Dee and Conor. That was great too!
