Faith

"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place."
2 Corinthians 2:14

"...So our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy on us."
Psalm 123:2

Whatever your circumstance God will show you mercy, whatever your path He will lead you in triumph which is in Christ. How sweet is the sleep of the believer who trusts these words. Whatever makes you anxious, whatever seems too big for you to handle, whatever tempts you...trust Him. He is God, He is the sovereign Lord and nothing is too hard for Him!
Rest easy with a faith in the living God who has conquered death, who has bought you with His blood and restored you to fellowship with Him. He always leads us, and leads us in triumph. Oh that we would trust and believe that He is with us, that as His word says He will never leave us nor forsake. His Word is true and trustworthy, put your hope in God and Him alone.

To God be the glory forever!

A Party

Today my mom asked if would babysit Andrew so she and my Dad could go out to dinner tonight.... of course I happily obliged. So I told Andy we were going to have a party when mom and dad left and boy did I have to live up to my words!

An hour later Andy asked if we could go to the store to get party supplies!
Soon we found ourselves in the party row at Albertsons where we picked up matching plates and napkins, party horns, balloons and party poppers. So, we (ok, I) made a yummy spaghetti dinner and got the party started! The grand finale was one of those sugar cookies with frosting (you know which ones I'm talking about!)....yummy!

In the middle of our party Andy decided he wanted to make a toast, so we picked up our platic cups of water and as "clinked glasses" Andy said "Hurray Jesus!" giving honor where it is most due!

Now that's my kind of party :)
